Experience
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California (LCSW #107518). My work in large academic health systems has centered on palliative care and serious illness, including work in pediatric oncology. I have supported people and families facing illness, caregiving, grief, uncertainty, and difficult decisions.
I have also provided parent coaching for parents whose children are experiencing depression, anxiety, substance use, and related challenges. Across these settings, I have seen how a major change can reshape relationships, roles, and the way we understand ourselves.
Why groups
I believe community and connection can bring healing and help us move through change with intention. A group gives us a chance to hear our experience reflected in someone else’s, encounter different perspectives, and notice how we relate in the moment. That shared experience can open up insights that are difficult to find alone.
How I work
I invite members to look closely at their own experience: how the past may shape the present, what feels difficult now, and what they hope to build for the future. My style is direct and kind. I connect with people, offer honest input, and challenge them to reflect more deeply while making room for each person’s pace and perspective.
I belong to the communities I hope to support. I bring that personal connection to the work without assuming that my experience is anyone else’s.
